One such weight loss diet which has gained popularity since a decade is fish and water diet. This diet plan has several other names such as 3 day diet, or 3 day tuna and water diet etc.

The food included in this diet is fish, water and small quantity of other food. Fish and water diet makes you lose your weight in a rapid manner. It is a low calorie, low carb and moderate protein diet which has to be followed for 3 days to attain quick weight reduction.

Fish And Water Weight Loss Diet

Fish and water diet is mainly a three day diet course. That means the person who follows it has to eat foods as per the diet plan for only three days. Even if he wants to continue following it, he has to take a break of 4 to 5 days before starting it again.

The advantage of this diet is quick weight reduction.

It is generally followed by those who want to lose weight instantly for some recent events, or for those who have very less time on hand to lose weight. Although the diet comprises of vitamins, proteins, low fat and low carb, omega 3 fatty acids etc, the disadvantage is its low calorie. A person following this diet may find difficult to sustain the energy for the whole day as the diet provides less than 1000 calories. Beside it reduces your temporarily.

3 Day Tuna Fish Diet Menu And Diet Plan

Given below is the fish and water diet menu:

Day 1:

Before your breakfast drink a glass of warm water mixed with a few lemon drops.

  • Breakfast: 1 cup green tea without sugar, 1 cup yogurt, 1 cup of fruit juice such as grape fruit, an egg and 1 slice of toast.
  • Lunch: 1 cup of fat free yogurt, ½ cup of canned tuna fish and a combination of fish, vegetables such as boiled cabbage, broccoli, lettuce and spinach.
  • Dinner: 1 cup of tuna fish i.e.3 oz, 1 cup green tea, 1 cup green string beans, 1 carrot and beets an orange or 1 kiwi or 1 grapefruit as a dessert.

Day 2:

Before breakfast drink one glass of warm water mixed with few lemon drops.

  • Breakfast: 1 cup green tea without sugar, 1 slice of toast with thin film of peanut butter, 1 apple.
  • Lunch: 1/2 cup tuna fish canned, 1 cup fat free yogurt, 1 cup green tea without sugar.
  • Dinner: 3 oz of combination of fish, ½ cup of beat, 1 cup of green peas, 1 cup of boiled vegetables such as cabbage and zucchini and 1 banana.

Day 3:

Before breakfast drink a glass of warm water added with few lemon drops.

  • Breakfast: 1 cup of green tea without sugar, 1/2 cup low fat cottage cheese, 1 egg, and a glass of grapefruit juice.
  • Launch: 1 cup of tuna or combination of fish, 1 cup of green tea, 1 cup of low fat yogurt, 1 slice of toast and 1 banana.
  • Dinner: 3 ounce of tuna fish, 1 cup of boiled mixed vegetables, 1 cup of green peas, ½ cup of vanilla ice cream.

Drink at least 8 to 10 glasses of water in whole day while following fish and water diet.
