During hot climate it is very common for a person to suffer from rash on face and forehead.   • Insect bite: an insect bite on forehead can cause red rash on the forehead. People who are allergic to insect bites normally get rash. Any insect bite on forehead can produce rash, it can be a red ant, or a mosquito bite etc.
  • Contact dermatitis: In this condition there is acute rash and inflammation of skin caused by substances such as soaps and detergents, cosmetics and chemicals that come in direct contact with the skin of forehead. Hair dyes are the most common cause for rash on forehead. Persons who use hair dye can suffer from skin rash on forehead.
  • Certain medications can also cause rash on forehead as well as all over the body.

  • To prevent heat rash on forehead and on the body, try to avoid direct sunlight on your skin.
  • Stay in well ventilated room in summer days and avoid moisture.
  • In case of contact dermatitis keep the irritant far away from your skin and prevent it from happening again. The condition gets relieved after some time. You can apply rose water or calamine lotion on the affected skin to get soothing effect.
  • To relieve forehead rash, apply paste prepared from sandalwood powder and rose water. It is an effective home remedy for treating forehead rash.
  • Apply aloe vera gel on the forehead to soothe the itchiness and inflammation caused due to rash.
