Home Remedies and Natural Treatment for Dark Skin
You can get fair skin from home, and all you need to do is try some of these natural remedies. Aside from keeping yourself out of the sun for prolonged periods of time, there are some home recipes you can make to help give you that fair skin you want. Just choose which one of these you think will work on you best or a combination of what may be effective on your skin and use this regularly to get you that fair complexion you want:
- Depending on your skin type, you can whiten your skin with the use of natural ingredients you can find at home.
- When you want to remove traces of a tan as well as make your skin fairer, you can mix together a tablespoon of honey, a tablespoon of milk powder, half a tablespoon of almond oil, and a tablespoon of lemon. Use this on your face and leave for a quarter of an hour then rinse off. Make larger batches in the same ratio for your body.
- Almonds have been known to promote the creation of fair skin so you can use an almond-based paste to get the fair skin you want. Simply soak a few raw almonds overnight in water. In the morning, drain these and grind them to a fine paste after removing their skin. Add some gram flour, some milk, and some lime juice and apply to your face and your body for that fair complexion you want.
- You can use a mixture of oatmeal, tomato juice, and yogurt in equal parts as a facial and body scrub to whiten your skin. Just rub this mixture on your skin. Leave for fifteen minutes, then rinse off with cool water.
