7 Weeks Pregnancy Symptoms, Care | Second Month Pregnant Precautions

Question:

7 weeks pregnant women care

Answer:

Month Two Pregnant Tips

In the 7th week the size of your baby will increase rapidly. In the beginning of the week the baby would be about five millimeters in size and by the end of the week increase to about eleven millimeters. The arm and leg buds will increase in size and will start dividing into fingers. The respiratory track, digestive tract and the heart will grow along with other internal organs.

During this week no special precautions need to be taken. The mother may experience basic symptoms like excessive vomiting or gastro intestinal disturbance.

Avoid medications, unless specified by the doctor, since the process of organogenesis is still taking place.

You might also experience mood swings, irritability and anxiety during this stage. Try eating regularly and ensure that your diet is balanced and contains all the essential vitamins and nutrients. Avoid junk food and refined food.

Sexual intercourse is safe at this stage, unless otherwise mentioned by the gynecologist. At the end of the second month, get an ultrasound scan done to review the status of the fetus.

Avoid strenuous work at this stage; it is possible that excessive work or strain may result in a spontaneous abortion, especially if there has been a history of miscarriages in the past.
