Burning Stomach Causes and Treatments:

Burning in stomach is usually caused due to inflammation of the inner lining of the stomach mucosa. Most common cause of it is excessive production of hydrochloric acid in the stomach. Other causes which can cause burning in the stomach are stomach ulcers, gastric ulcers, duodenal ulcers, dyspepsia and indigestion. Very rare cause is stomach cancer which is associated with other physiological disturbances such as loss of appetite, vomiting of blood and weight loss etc.

One should all things which are known to produce burning stomach. One should be on liquid diet till symptoms subside and there after one should start with fruit diet. Fruits such as apples, melons, pears, grape, oranges and pineapples can be taken.
One should avoid alcohol, tobacco, spices, meat, sour food, tea and coffee, pastries, rich cakes and aerated drinks to prevent stomach burning.
