      As per the health organizations and CDC, a thoroughly cooked egg lowers the risk of salmonella infection. However, if you are certain that the egg that you are eating is thoroughly pastured and organic eating it raw may be safe. Hens which are raised in unsanitary environment may invariably have eggs containing salmonella germs. So before eating raw eggs make sure the place of their origin.
