According to the symptoms that you have mentioned, the itching appears more to be related to moisture and perspiration. This may lead to fungus infection. The groin area becomes darker due to perspiration and repeated friction between the skin folds. First of all, if you should avoid perspiration in this area and keep the area dry as much as possible. Avoid wearing tight clothing such as jeans or tight underwear. Wear loose fitting cotton undergarments. It allows free air movement and dries the area fast. Sprinkle small amount of talcum powder after taking bath.

Ringworm is fungus infection. It produces ring shaped rash on skin. The skin inside the ring is unaffected. The border is scaly and red and with tiny blisters. The edge of border is sharp. Ringworm develops in various places such as on scalp, face, groin, and feet. Excessive sweating, damp and humid area, wearing tight underwear, sharing clothes and towel and low immunity are risk factors for developing ringworm. Pet animals can also spread the disease. Cure of ringworm takes time as it is a slow growing fungus. However, there are several home remedies that may be useful. Have you tried application of tea tree oil? It is an effective home remedy for treating ringworm. If ringworm is persisting for many months and years even with all medications, you must try alternative therapy such as homeopathy. This therapy is effective in fungal infection that has become resistant and difficult to treat with conventional anti-fungal creams, ointment and medications. Consult some good homeopath in your area.
