  • Prior to drinking, be sure to eat a substantial amount of healthy food to prevent stomach bloating. An empty stomach would further enhance gas production.
  • Avoid binge drinking or better yet, avoid drinking as it could lead to serious health problems plus it would also affect your skin and your total physical appearance. If you must drink alcohol, drink slowly and in a minimal amount.
  • If you feel like your stomach is bloated, try to expel gas in your stomach by belching or burping. Straighten your back to allow gas in your stomach to find its way out through your esophagus.
  • You can also drink lots of water to eliminate gas in your stomach. This will also help in normalizing acid in your stomach that causes hyper acidity and other gastro intestinal problems.
  • Take a few miles or a few minutes to walk in order to relieve yourself from bloating.
  • Practice yoga as there are certain positions that effectively treats bloating.
  • Avoid smoking and chewing gum at the same time as this will make you swallow large amount of gas.
