    I have tingling sensation in my scalp; have just had knee replacement where I had a spinal block, also a really sore neck after the operation. I want to scratch my head constantly and there is burning sensation. Would like to know is this temporary or long term.

      The tingling sensation may not have anything to do with your operation. It may be a separate entity itself. If it is a dandruff problem, then shampoo your hair regularly. Eat balanced diet as it will provide necessary vitamins and minerals required to alleviate neuritis. Take good care of your hair. Most of the time this problem disappears quickly.
