Firstly, perform all the investigations and tests that your physician has asked you to perform, so that we can come to the exact diagnosis of the medical condition.

Does your father have any heart disorder (high B.P., high cholesterol, occasional chest pain)? Is he on to any medications for any specific health reason?

Is he having any kidney trouble? Any urinary problem?

      What is his age?

In the meanwhile, I will prescribe to you some home remedies and certain foods that will bring about symptomatic cure, but it is crucial that you find out the underlying cause.

      – Give him 1 cup of ginger tea. Ginger is the best herb to combat nausea and vomiting. Boil 1 inch of the grated herb in water. Cool and give him.
      – Soak raisins in a bowl overnight and give him first thing in the morning. do not discard the water. Raisins are a fever tonic and help regain strength and vitality.
      – Avoid highly spiced foods for him. Give him light and bland foods, which will not cause nausea.
      – Also, remember to give him plenty of fluids to fight dehydration due to consistent vomiting. Soups, juices, and coconut water, is advocated.

Considering your symptoms, the first thing that is required is to note down body temperature with the thermometer every 6hours. This will tell you the exact body temperature during the whole day. Have you done any blood tests or any other tests? If you have done it, can you tell me the test results? Secondly, have you consulted your doctor? Since the fever has prolonged for many days it is necessary to get examined by a physician. On examination he may also advise you to do any other tests if necessary to diagnose the disease.
