Natural Home Remedies for Cyst on Earlobe

Cyst on earlobe is usually the result when sebum, the oily and medium-thick fluid produced by sebaceous glands, is trapped in the pores. To determine if it can be treated at home, press the cyst on your earlobe. If it is not painful, the cyst must contain substances that may not be treated with home remedies. However, if you feel some pain upon pressing the cyst, it is most probably filled with pus or sebum and can very well be treated at home. Some of the most effective remedies for cyst behind ear or on earlobe include

  • Get a warm washcloth and apply it on the affected earlobe for 10-15 minutes two to three times a day until the cyst disappear.
    The oily pus inside the cyst will melt and naturally find its way out through the pore.
  • Soak a cotton ball with tea tree oil and hold it against the affected earlobe for at least 5 minutes. The tea tree oil will naturally dry up the pus and will eventually make it go away.
  • Prepare a turmeric paste by getting a pinch of ground turmeric powder on a saucer. Add 3 to 5 drops of water till the mixture becomes a paste. Apply the mixture to the cyst on earlobe and leave it for 20 minutes. Wash the paste after and apply the mixture daily until the cyst disappears.
