Sun-dried and dry fruits such as raisins and dates should not also be eaten by diabetics because they contain high levels of calories and fats are high in concentrated energy.

You can still eat fruits but should be taken in great moderation. Ten grams of carbohydrates every day are enough for a diabetic. Around 75 grams of kiwi and citrus fruits, pineapple, blueberries, apples, plums, and mangoes contain 10 grams of calories.
