  • Eat food rich in calcium and since calcium is not properly absorbed without vitamin D, taking vitamin supplements and even just exposure to the sun can provide you a good amount of vitamin D.

      Following a healthy life is not only important for your knee health but also for your overall health. So if you are obese, try to reduce your weight. This is the first step in reducing pain in knees. Avoid carrying heavy objects for long duration. Consume enough amount of calcium rich food. Vitamin D is also necessary. Sun exposure is a good source of vitamin D.
