  • Use cream containing vitamin K. it is available commercially as a cosmetic product. Vitamin K prevents dark circles by strengthening the capillaries around the eyes.
  • Apply a concealer with a makeup brush having a yellow undertone. It conceals the dark purple color of the under eye circles.

  • Extract fresh cucumber juice and potato juice. Mix them in equal quantity and apply them gently around the dark eye circles. It is one of the best home remedies for dark eye circles.
  • Tea bags: it is the age old home remedy for dark eye circles. Caffeine in tea reduces the puffiness around the eye. Tea also contains antioxidants that are beneficial to skin. Take a used tea bag and let it cool in the refrigerator. After some time keep it on your closed eyes for 10 to 15 minutes.
  • Take one teaspoon of lemon juice and two teaspoon of tomato juice; mix them together in a cup. Apply the mixture over the dark eye circles gently. Be careful not to get the juice in the eyes.
  • Almond oil massage over the dark circles is an effective home remedy. Massage regularly to lighten the dark circles.
  • To prevent dark circles you have to sleep for 7 to 8 hours daily.
  • Drink enough water, as water is useful in lightening dark eye circles.
