Sore Feet Causes
Sore feet is a frequently caused due to plantar fasciitis i.e. the inflammation of the fascia which connects the heel of the bone with the toes. It may be caused due to:
- Faulty foot wear which may have a very small arch or long heels
- Excessive physical activity
- Overweight or carrying heavy weight for prolonged periods of time.
- Anatomically having a flat or a high arched foot.
- Soreness of feet may be rarely due to fungal infections (for which clotrimazole is used).The soreness is then attributed to the inflammation that may arise as a result of the foot infection
Sore Feet Treatment:
- First diagnose the cause of your foot pain. Is it due to a fungal infection? If so, local application of clotrimazole will be most appropriate. Use it sparingly.
- Don’t use occlusive dressing in the foot and ensure that the foot wear used provides adequate ventilation for the foot.
- Change your footwear. Use sport shoes or simple footwear. AVOID HEELS.
- Keep your feet dry at all times. Moisture promotes the growth of fungal infection in foot.

I have pain the heels when I get up in the morning. This has started a month back. for the last two years, I walk in the morning for 25-30 minutes followed by treadmill for 15 minutes. My height is 165 cm and weight is 68 kgs. Need your advise to stop this pain.
