What are Skin Moles
Moles are just part of who you are. They make your physical features distinct from the rest of other individuals.
What Usually Happens
Sometimes, there is a tendency especially when the person is doing nothing, it becomes a mannerism to always play and nick the mole every now and then. What usually happens next is that it will start to bleed.
How to Stop Mole Bleed
First and foremost, you have to stop the bleeding. If the mole is profusely bleeding, take a clean cloth and apply pressure to the area until bleeding minimizes. Wash the affected area with running water and soap. Let it sit to dry. Apply topical antiseptic solution to the wound. Cover it with gauze.
If the bleeding does not stop, apply cold compress and at the same time keep putting pressure on the area.
Things You Need to Watch Out For
- Watch out for signs and symptoms of infection. When an open break in the skin occurs, bacteria would likely enter. When this happens, infection occurs.
- Watch out for nodules. Try to palpate the mole with your fingertips and feel if there are nodules underneath them. Sometimes, there are moles that can either be benign or malignant. Seeking professional medical help would be advisable when this occurs.
- Persistent itching and development of pus. If there is presence of inflammation, the tendency is that the mole would be filled with pus. If there is an eruption of such, try to wash it with running water and soap and treat it like the same way you do with an open wound.
Mole Bleeding Prevention

- Eat healthy and nutritious food to prevent further complication and to keep one’s body healthy.
