TWENTY TO THIRTY-FIVE YEARS
- At this age, sweat glands, oil glands are most active. Naturally oily skin problem persist among many.
- Daily shampooing and frequent washing with soap and water is helpful.
- Acne over a long period may indicate hormonal imbalance.
- Hormonal tests helps find out the exact cause and medication can be given accordingly.
- Further oily skin and acne give rise to large pores.
Open Pores
To control open pores use honey and tomato juice.
Sun Protection
Use sunscreens and sun blocks regularly to ensure protection from sunlight.
Wrinkles
Wrinkles first start appearing during this period. Smoking gives rise to lots of little lines on the upper lip. In order to prevent these wrinkles give up smoking.
Under Eye Circles
For circles under the eyes, tea is especially beneficial. Soak cotton in warm tea and dab it gently around the eyes.
Crows feet
Add a few drops of sweet almond oil to milk and soak breadcrumbs in them.
Eyelids
Apply a drop of almond oil to the eyelids to maintain its suppleness and smoothness.
Eyes
Eyes should be given eye baths. Besides that, blink and close your eyes frequently.
THIRTY FIVE TO FIFTY YEARS
- The skin during this period gets thinner and loses its elasticity.
- The skin is not uniformly colored.
- Groves are formed around the eyes, on the forehead and on the upper lip.
ABOVE FIFTY YEARS
These people have at least three shades of skin color accompanied by brown spots.
- Application of face pack once a week is highly beneficial. Mix together a teaspoon of whipped cream with few drops of lavender oil and a pinch of alum. Apply this mixture and leave it for 20 minutes. Then rinse with lukewarm water.
- The skin becomes dry, as you get older. Exfoliating the skin is a good option. It removes dead skin cells. Cell division increases and cells perform more youthfully. Using almond scrub and tapping the skin can increase the cell division.
- Add 1/4 teaspoon of cleansing cream to a large pinch of crushed almonds and massage it well into the skin. Rinse off.
- Face pack made from egg yolk has shown good results. Beat the yolk with a little olive oil and spread it evenly over the face and neck. Keep it on for 15 minutes and rinse off with lukewarm water.
- Mix almond oil with a few drops of patchouli oil. Apply it day and night and then use a moisturizer.
