Skin Pigmentation Remedy:
Pigmentation that most commonly associated with freckles is a normal physiologic reaction of the body to the extensive heat and the other external factors surrounding the individual.
Causes of Pigmentation:
Due to the sun’s ultraviolet rays, once the skin is exposed to it for a period of time, there is a fluctuation in the production of melanocytes. Melanocytes produce melanin for the skin color of an individual. African-Americans have dark colored skin because they have increased melanin in their skin. Asians have just the fair amount. This is because the climate and environment of every race is a huge factor in itself.
Treat Skin Pigmentation:
There are many methods wherein you can try to improve your skin and to reduce skin pigmentation in your cheek area. Here are the following ways you can try to do even at your own home.
- Slice a papaya, mash it with a fork, and place it in a bowl. Set aside or you may let it cool for about 3 to 5 minutes. For the meantime, wash your face with a mild soap or a mild facial cleanser. As you rub the soap, try to massage your face in order to promote good circulation.Rinse with lukewarm water and pat your face dry. Do not rub. After doing so, you can apply the papaya mash to your face and let it sit for a while. Rinse your face again, this time with water only. Pat to dry.
- You can also try a mixture of honey, egg whites, and oatmeal to cure pigmented skin. In a separate bowl, mix these three ingredients. At first it would be messy to work with but the effects will be worth the hassle. After mixing the contents, use it as a sort of face mask and let it sit in your face for 15 to 20 minutes. The egg whites would serve like a mask that will stick to your face allowing all the other nutrients from the other ingredients to seep in to your pores. The texture of the oatmeal would serve as an organic yet mild facial scrub for your face.
Prevent Skin Pigmentation:
Not only can these pigmentation be treated, but they can be prevented as well and minimized if you will follow these tips.
- Avoiding too much exposure to sunlight.
- Drink plenty of water for preventing skin pigmentation.
- Use liberal amounts of sunscreen, even if you are just going out for a jog or groceries.
- Eat plenty of fruits and vegetables.
- Observe and maintain a healthy lifestyle.
- Get a good rest and sleep.
