Chlamydia Natural Treatments:

Chlamydia is one of the commonest sexually transmitted disease than any other disease. Discharge from urethra or vagina, inflammation of genitals, difficult urination, and inflamed area surrounding itch and pain while coitus or intercourse are some of the symptoms of chlamydia infection.
Roughly 20% may have contract this disease in teenage. Nearly 70% females and 10% males who have Chlamydia infection do not have clinical features. From the above data one can see that the actual number of people having this disease and sharing it must be very high.


Chlamydia whether diagnosed or not the effects can be serious. It is found that 30% females have got problems in reproduction, disease of inflammation of pelvic and some have gone sterile. Arthritis of a peculiar form is seen in these young females who have Chlamydia.
Males can have inflammation of seminal vesicle and infection of the prostate. (Prostatitis is inflammation of the prostate and can have clinical features such as urinal pain and discharge which can be watery or with mucous). Preventing Chlamydia:

  1. The only genuine protection is abstinence. Follow a very cleansing liquid diet for 3-7 days. During the acute stage, take one each of the following juices daily- potassium broth, fresh carrot juice, vegetable drink and apple/parsley juice to alkalize.
  2. Follow the liquid diet with a cleansing fresh foods diet to prevent chlamydia. Avoid refined, starchy, fried and saturated fat foods. No meat, dairy products, caffeine, tobacco and liquor.

Home Remedies for Chlamydia:

  1. This condition is very tricky and hence it is important to see gynecologist at least one.
  2. A through regime has to be followed by undergoing natural treatment of chlamydia. Mix an equal amount of powdered goldenseal, barberry and Oregon grape root with vitamin A oil. Soak an all-cotton tampon and place directly in the cervix.
  3. Put one teaspoon each of goldenseal and myrrh into a pint of boiling water. Bath the sores several times daily in a goldenseal or myrrh solution.
  4. Use a vaginal suppository of tea tree oil every night till symptoms persist.

    Not sure about the liquid diet as helping with Chlamydia! Sounds a bit ‘wishful thinking’ to me. I can understand that diet might help to alleviate symptoms but I think a visit to the doctor is always the best thing to do in the first instance.
