I have no period since 2 months. I do not believe I am pregnant, except frequent urination, there is no vomiting or any tenderness of breast.
The only reason for my missed periods I think is because I am very active. I dance and right now I’m taking gym classes; both are stressful. However, what concerned me is that ever since I’ve got my period in grade.7 (I’m in grade.12 now) I’ve always had my period more often i.e. every two weeks. So now that trouble is absent. I am wondering if I am pregnant?
I have been sexually active, but no sexual intercourse since few months.
Irregular menstruation can be due to many causes, but since you are sexually active, pregnancy has to be ruled out first. A simple urine pregnancy test can be done.
Stress, over activity can also take its toll for missed periods.
Even in this young age, there are hormonal changes, which might be the cause.
Anemia often causes irregular menses.
The other cause can be Poly cystic ovary.
Over weight can also result in irregular menses.
Get examined by your physician, and take necessary corrective measures according to his advice.
It would be necessary to determine the underlying cause of infertility before starting on to any treatment.
Female causes for infertility include:
1. Ovarian Cause – hormonal imbalances which affects the formation and discharge of the ovum (i.e. the human egg)
2. Tubal Cause – defect in the route that transmits the ovum from the ovary to the uterus.
3. Uterine Cause – factors preventing implantation of the ovum
4. Cervical Cause – factors that prevent the sperm from reaching the ovum
Pressing the appropriate reflexology points, stimulates the uterus, ovaries, and also regularizes the hormones in the body.
Point.1. This point is located on the palmer surface of the hand, in line with the little finger, just below the wrist crease.
Point.2. this point is located one thumb space below point 1.
Press both the points daily for a minute each, a minimum of three times a day. These points stimulate and regularize the normal ovarian functions and promote the normal discharge of the ovum from the ovaries. These points also create a conducive environment in the uterine endometrium to allow implantation of the embryo.
