Month 3 or Week 9-12 of Pregnant Mother and Roles and Tips for Fatherhood

Father’s Role in Pregnancy:

If you have an ultrasound appointment approaching then you may be thinking about the prospects of son or daughter. Keep an open mind irrespective of the sex of the baby. It is however wonderful to know the sex of the baby only after birth. The surprise is worth it.

Think about the pros and cons of both the sexes rationally. Don’t think about the gender imposed limitations of your baby. It is important to think about their potential. Children are a bundle of joy to the parents whether it is a boy or a girl. Girls are no less than boys and can carry on the family name.

The Cost of Kids:

You are forced to think about meeting the mounting expense as your family is growing. Sit down with your partner and work a budget together. There are a lot of unnecessary expenses that can be cut down. Weekend getaways, concert, movies, long drives, eating out are expenses that can be avoided till your child grows a little older.

You may consider a change in your job if you are not getting well paid for your present one. If you really love your job then talk to your boss and try to negotiate your demands. They may really need you and may consider a hike.

Changing Roles:

There will be a change in your behavior. You will try to take things more seriously. You will start planning more for the future now. Your spendthrift days are over now because you want to provide the best for your child. Intense love, fierce protectiveness and responsibilities will make you feel more like an adult than ever before.
