Gingivitis Causes, Treatments:

An infection of the gums is called Gingivitis. They are usually caused by small injuries; for example burns from hot liquids or hot food, also due to a bite that doesn’t line up properly. It can also occur during pregnancy or flu, and it often spreads throughout the mouth cavity. See your dentist or physician immediately in case of severe complaints, bluish red or blue discoloration, tearing, ulcers, pus or high fever.

Symptoms, Remedies of Gingivitis:

Worse – Warm drinks
Better – Cold drinks
Remedy – Apis mellifica

Worse – After eating, in the evening, nights
Remedy – Belladonna 30*(One dose every thirty minutes, but never exceed four doses)

Remedy – Phytolacca

Note: If infections are reappearing frequently then they can be either due to sharp edges or corner of one or more teeth; dentures with poor fitting or mechanical problems. It can also be due to general weakness of the body’s defense mechanism or result of poor dental hygiene. So it is better to consult your dentist get things checked first, and then consult an experienced homeopath to prescribe a constitutional therapy.
