My mother who is in her sixties just developed shakings in her left hand and leg. Due to some treatments she got, we discovered that it was Parkinsonism. She got treated and the symptoms reduced but her hand keeps shaking especially whenever she does any work with her hands. Is there anything that can be done or any prescription for her? She is based in my country. Kindly give a reply to this mail. Thank you.

Has she been diagnosed by a physician of Parkinson’s disease? If yes, give her a prescription medicine given by her physician. He will prescribe after a clinical assessment.
Simultaneously you can give her foods rich in anti-oxidant compounds. Foods such as almond, orange, melon, papaya are rich in vitamin C and E, which may help to halt the further progress of the disease.
Physiotherapy exercise is good for Parkinson’s disease.
Psychological support is also necessary for your mother.
