Hi I have been having yellow discharge I think since Sep2009 when, I had unprotected genital touching no penetration but previous to this incident I was told by my doctor I had a yeast infection, is this an STD but in February 2010 I got tested 4 chymidia, Hiv, gonorhea, syphillis and all were negative, so is this a STDs or yeast infection?

As you know, yellow vaginal discharge can be due to many causes, such as gonorrhea and yeast infection. If there is cheesy texture to the discharge with intensive itching in vaginal area, the likely cause can be yeast infection. The fishy odor to the discharge also hints towards it. Where as in gonorrhea there is more of burning pain during urination with yellow discharge. Get tested once again for STD and yeast Candida infection.
