I was also suffering from urticaria since 3 yrs. Try Bragg’s organic Apple Cider vinegar (undistilled), 1 tsp in a glass of water, 20min before each meal.
It has made a lot of difference to me, just give it a try and you may feel the difference.

I’ve had on and off chronic urticaria since 4th grade. Many members of my mom’s family has had a history with it. The doctor prescribed Hydrozyzine Syrup also known under the brand of Vistaril. It does a great job of getting rid of the urticaria for a year or two after a week of taking the medicine. The only side effect is drowsiness. It takes like Nyquil so I assume there’s probably an alcohol substrate of some sort.

I had a huge breakout of it when I was with my mom’s family in Vietnam several years ago. That’s when I encountered the best treatment I’ve ever received. They rubbed vinegar on the welts and had me drink tea. Within an hour, the itching and everything was gone. Since then, I rarely get the outbreaks; and it was light when it does come out.

I am 48 and suffering from urticaria after I was put on medication for high blood pressure in September 2009. The capsule ceruvin contained a drug which triggers these hives. Although I stopped this capsule in November 2009 it’s effect still remains. I am avoiding sour foods.

Certain drugs can cause urticaria apart from many other causes like eating strawberry, certain digestive tract disorders, fish, eggs, emotional excitement, insect stings and mosquito bites. Use of turmeric paste helps in building bodies vital capacity and flushes out body toxins, if taken with water.

The exact cause for urticaria cannot be found but there are remedies:
First with Inner body care, external reactions will vanish gradually:-
    1) Keep drinking normal (nor warm nor cold) water.
    2) Have muskmelon, it will keep body temperature cool.
    3) When I had urticaria, my father suggested me TERFED 60mg or TREXYL, this is hereditary. My father had, I had it, my son had it. Don’t worry, it will go away. [PLEASE CONSULT DOCTOR, BECAUSE COMPANIES AND BRANDS SHUTDOWN AND PHARMACISTS GIVE MANY CHOICES]
    4) Keep your clothes and bed, neat and clean, it is allergic, even a minor itching can start the game.

Urticaria is inflammation of the skin characterized by eruption; they can be acute or chronic in nature. There is a rash which is burning and itching in nature with a small raised area called weal.
The main goal to cure urticaria is to prevent the recurring episode, by finding the trigger factor, from which it is caused.
This triggers release a chemical called Hystamine. It causes fluid to leak from the capillaries of the skin resulting to form a weal.
    The causative factors are:
    1. Allergy: It can be a food allergy like shell fish, egg, spices and chocolates, citrus fruit or strawberries. etc.
    2. Insect bites.
    3. Allergy to certain medicine.
    4. Viral infection such as influenza can cause urticaria in few people.
    5. Skin contact with certain chemicals, ointments, cosmetics.
Often no treatment is necessary as the rash usually goes within in a day or two.
If you can identify the trigger factor, avoid it the next time so that you may not get it in future. For example if urticaria is caused by eating egg, do not eat it.

Hi I am a victim of chronic severe case of urticaria. I finally got myself off work for 3 months and off anti-histamines (antiallergies) for its long term side effects which also causes stomach cancer. I underwent an ayurveda therapy for 3months I couldn’t eat anything except plain boil vegetables, and plain rice, lentils mixture without any flavoring.

Post this treatment I am back to normal I underwent this through Baba RamDev Ayurveda Clinic. So it’s a cheap and permanent cure as long as you follow their instructions very carefully.

I have chronic hives since 2 months. Nth can help me except of Prednisone, but you cannot take it forever. I was taking more then 10 antihistamine pills every day and nth could stop this horrible hives. Thats why I decided to start homeopathy, but contacted doctor from abroad. Not always the regular homeopathic pills are the right for you.
After a long interview I got Saccharum Lactis 200C and will see what will happened. The doctor I contacted cured many people I know with the same remedy. Only one granule every day, but you have to stop all anti-histamines and there are some rules you have to pay attention when you are under homeopathic therapy. I hope this will help me too, because to live this way is a nightmare.
