Causes of Typhoid Fever
- Poor sanitation, contaminated water and infected milk is main factors responsible for developing typhoid.
- Flies contaminate the food with germs and people carrying the germs can also spread the disease if they prepare or serve food.
- Wrong dietary habits and faulty style of living lead to accumulation of toxic waste in the body and promotes typhoid fever.
- It is common in people who eat more meat and fleshy foods.
Natural remedies for Typhoid Fever

- Patient should be kept on a liquid diet of orange, barley juice and milk. Orange juice especially hastens recovery as it increases energy, promotes body resistance and increases urinary output. Administer warm water enema regularly.

The pack should be kept for an hour and renewed after every 3 hours. Hot water bottles may be applied to the sides of the body and feet.
- Fresh fruits and easily digestible foods can be given after temperature comes down to normal.
- Plain water or unsweetened lemon water can be used for drinking.
- Gradually start a well-balanced diet.
Prevention of Typhoid Fever
Implementation of anti-fly measures, proper disposal of sewage, boiling or thorough purification of drinking water and pasteurization of milk are some of the preventive measures.

I am suffering for the last one week:

I have been battling with this disease for over a decade now. I will fall sick and doctors will always tell me I have Malaria and Typhoid, sometimes separately. My symptoms are always sever and quite recently taking a bad pattern.
My symptoms starts with headache, fever, body ache, internal hotness of the body, loss of appetite, dizziness, uncomfortable stomach situation. Recently I was rushed to hospital in a terrible condition, my whole stomach contents was as if being tied with a rope, my breathing getting uneasy and as if my life was going out, terrible body ache, suddenly I vomited and got relieved. I have been having pains on my chest, just between my chest and if I take Antacid I got relief as well. Am hypertensive and on medications regularly, though I tried controlling my BP naturally I think it was not good enough.
Quite recently too I had a test and was told I am HBV positve, did an LFT test and was confirmed OK and conducting HE ag test.
What are your advices for me as to the nature of my ailments bearing in mind the terrible situations/symptoms and conditions I find myself- at least two times now.

I am suffering from this fever. I took complete bed rest for 4 days. Initially there was lot of weakness, pain in the joints, headache. I was not able to sleep whole days & nights due to pain, was not able to eat either. Temperature runs so high that I feel like removing all clothes & sometimes I was shivering in the month of May. To counter loss of apatite I asked my wife to prepare sweets (prepared from concentrated milk with sugar) & that helped me a lot as it gave me enough power to fight acidity & digest the medicines.
In five days I recovered & my doctor issued me a fitness certificate to resume my duty.
