I have been battling with this disease for over a decade now. I will fall sick and doctors will always tell me I have Malaria and Typhoid, sometimes separately. My symptoms are always sever and quite recently taking a bad pattern.
My symptoms starts with headache, fever, body ache, internal hotness of the body, loss of appetite, dizziness, uncomfortable stomach situation. Recently I was rushed to hospital in a terrible condition, my whole stomach contents was as if being tied with a rope, my breathing getting uneasy and as if my life was going out, terrible body ache, suddenly I vomited and got relieved. I have been having pains on my chest, just between my chest and if I take Antacid I got relief as well. Am hypertensive and on medications regularly, though I tried controlling my BP naturally I think it was not good enough.
Quite recently too I had a test and was told I am HBV positve, did an LFT test and was confirmed OK and conducting HE ag test.
What are your advices for me as to the nature of my ailments bearing in mind the terrible situations/symptoms and conditions I find myself- at least two times now.

Nowadays, monocef injection 1 gm twice is given intravenously for typhoid. be careful. Injection is to be given very slowly otherwise it causes dizziness.

I am suffering from this fever. I took complete bed rest for 4 days. Initially there was lot of weakness, pain in the joints, headache. I was not able to sleep whole days & nights due to pain, was not able to eat either. Temperature runs so high that I feel like removing all clothes & sometimes I was shivering in the month of May. To counter loss of apatite I asked my wife to prepare sweets (prepared from concentrated milk with sugar) & that helped me a lot as it gave me enough power to fight acidity & digest the medicines.
In five days I recovered & my doctor issued me a fitness certificate to resume my duty.

I was having very high fever 102-103 for 5 days. After taking blood test i am diagnosed with typhoid. The doctor has told me that i will be given an injection morning and evening for 6 days and 14 days of antibiotics.

But surprisingly today I haven’t had any fever and headache, maybe just tiredness. Typhoid cant get cured on its own..can it?

During the disease I had 99 c temperature. This had prolonged for two or three months. The main symptoms were dizziness and headache.

I would like to ask about TYPHOID TONGUE CONDITION: tongue becomes dry and gets coated in the central region with white patches.
What is the cause of that condition ?
How can I overcome and treat the dry tongue condition? Usually patient feels pain at the tongue or feel uncomfortable.

Why does Epigastric Pain often occur after Typhoid Disease is cured? How can I heal this?

What is the Drug of Choice to cure Typhoid Disease? Chloramphenicol?

I have 99 c to 100 c temp. It rises in evening and and decreases in morning without any medicine. I started my antibiotic course for 10 days on 13th July 2009. But after the course fever remained at 99 c. I was hospitalized on 26 July 2009 and treated with Monocef injection 1 gm twice and discharged on 31 July 2009. And continued the antibiotic for up to 4 Aug 2009. But my body temperature rises to 99 c in the evening and goes back to normal in morning. All reports are normal, i.e. mx test, blood culture, urine culture, pcr tuberclosis test. My appetite is normal. Do you have any suggestions for typhoid natural treatment or diagnosing my problem.

I had Typhoid for 6 days. If undiagnosed it can be fatal. These days due to swine flu everybody is scared. My recommendation is don’t ignore any FEVER.

I was taking viral fever tablets from a good doctor, not knowing the fact that I had Typhoid. I came to know this thing after 2 days when the fever was not coming down below 102 c.
I felt very weak, had diarrhea, felt cold all of a sudden, did not feel like eating anything.

After getting my blood tests from Doctor, it was diagnosed that I had Typhoid. I was given proper vaccination a hospital. It was in liquid form, going in my body through my veins, twice a day for 3 days (depends from person to person and your doctors prescription). Typhoid fever does not go down in one day even if you are taking medicines. You have to be patient, eventually the medicines will work.

I took proper rest, forced myself to eat lots of fruits, juices, Dalia etc.

ALL the BEST for a HEALTHY LIFE

It started with extreme body pain and fever with chills and that is the reason I thought it is Malaria but my blood test results confirmed it as Typhoid. I was found positive for all the 4 antigens i.e. Ag O, A, AH n BH for typhoid and paratyphoid. I am still suffering from it and have extreme weakness and body ache at times.
Please check your diet, avoid having oily stuff specially from outside. Do not have much of pulses as they may create gas in your gut. Also take good rest and be at home for atleast 2 days after you have recovered.

I was suffering from fever recently and I consulted doctor. I was given medicines that made me normal for a week. I again got fever 4 times next month. Doctor conducted blood tests that confirmed typhoid. Later I was given antibiotics but that did not cure. I changed my doctor and he gave some tablets that took for some 15 – 20 days. I again went for a blood test and showed normal. I was OK for 15 days, but again I am feeling feverish. My next blood test showed my typhoid severe than earlier. Where do I go from here?

I am in trouble now. One day I was feeling really dizzy and almost puked, then I had high temperature, a headache and went to bed. The next day, same symptoms and later at night I looked for symptoms of Acute HIV, and were very similar, I even had a particular bump rash, one bump only but it was enough for me to realize I got the virus. I had sex with an exotic dancer with condom by about 3 weeks before feeling that sick. She felt that the condom broke and so I pulled out my penis. We checked up to see if the condom was broke but I was too scared to record everything that happened that night. After realizing I had HIV, I went to the doctor and got tested for Typhoid Fever and got positive in the O and H agents, aslo with Proteux something. The doctor told me I had typhoid fever and gave me some antibiotics with decreased my nausea and high temperatures but not my lack of appetite. I was having severe body aches, mostly on my back, Its been over 5 days since I started with the medication but I still have some body aches, digestive problems, and some high temperature issues. I would like to know if the doctor misdiagnosed my illness by saying I have typhoid when I really have the Acute HIV illness?

In my case, I did not have high fever. It was always mild 99 or normal. I had shoulder paid and difficulty in moving my right hand. Felt very weak. Doctor first put me on physiotherapy. The pain increased. I told the doctor voluntarily to do Vidal test. It turned typhoid +. H160, O80 I do not know that these values are. Doctor wanted me to be admitted. I told I can manage and rode my scooter home. Taking prescribed medicine. Feeling better after 5 days. Yet feeling weak. Difference is, No fever, Normal bowel habits, normal hunger, normal sleep. Just body paid at right shoulder joint and feeling very weak. Wonder if it really typhoid. Almost forget to tell most important thing. I took ice cream from local store. While tasting itself I could feel it was contaminated. Regret, consumed it in full.

I was suffering from indigestion, stomach pain, head ache, Leg joint and back pain and weakness. I had fever and sweating at times, mostly during night. I had these problems for over a month, and doctor suggested WIDAL test, which was positive (O : 1:40 dil). He prescribed medication for 15 days. Now I am feeling better but have not fully recovered. I am taking light food, juices and fruits and lots of rest. Normally how much time will it take for complete recovery?

For last 3 days I am suffering from the following symptoms: Severe headache and continuous vomiting. Fever remains between 101 and 103 degree but not always and there is shivering in the morning and sweating at night. I also feel weakness, nausea and acidity. Can these be symptoms of malaria or typhoid or jaundice?
