What is Toenail Fungus
Nail infections caused by fungal molds are called Toenail Fungus. They arrive unannounced. Initially spots may appear on the nail then months later, fungi may consume the whole nail. The nail may become brittle and crack as the infection advances.

Tea tree oil, vinegar, camphor phenol paste and saline solution can be applied with a soft brush.
Preventing Toenail Fungus
- Use only disinfected manicure and pedicure tools, which have been wiped with alcohol and air-dried for 60-90 minutes.
- Daily wash your hands and legs with soap and water and dry them well, especially between the toes.
- Cut your nails straight and see that they do not extend beyond the tips of your toes and fingers.
- Wear cotton socks and leather shoes that provide plenty of toe room, and in warm weather wear sandals.
- Use anti-fungal foot powder.

What toenail fungus treatment can cure the infection completely? I heard rubbing tea tree oil helps, get rid of toenail fungus. Some people say applying vicks vapor rub also heals nail fungus.
