- Carrots, grapes, cucumber, beets and oranges can be used for preparation of juice.

- Lime and lemon are prime most important in treatment of sore lips. Being rich source of vitamin C this are of utmost importance in skin regeneration and skin repair. Lime juice is to be taken till the soreness of lip disappears and should be continued for few more days.
- Potato contains vitamin C and is an excellent food remedy. This should be used in your kitchen liberally.
- Indian gooseberry is another important home remedy. Commonly called as amla is the richest source of vitamin C and can be taken form of dry amla or juice of it or 3-4 amla can be eaten daily.
- Mango powder can be taken for this condition. Commonly it is called as ‘aamchur’.
- For external application if there is cracks and pain, one can apply cream of milk and avocado oil has been found beneficial on the affected area.
