Shoulder Pain Natural Treatment
Question: I have a severe pain of shoulder & sometimes I have stomach puffiness what should I do? Can you please suggest me some home remedy and simple exercise which will give me relief from my shoulder pain.
Answer: Shoulder and neck pain is a common distressing symptom but is usually self limiting.

Exercises to get Relief from Shoulder Pain
- Sit with your back straight and rotate your head anti-clock wise and clock-wise, three times each.
- Sit straight and hold your neck erect. Inhale and turn your head to the left, exhale and come back. Inhale and turn to the right, exhale and come back.Inhale and tip the head as far back as possible, exhale and come back. Inhale and drop your head down so that the chin touches the chest, exhale and come back.
- Grasp your right shoulder with the right hand and left shoulder with the left hand. Touch the elbows, and rotate them in clock wise and anticlockwise so that you feel a pull in the back.
Remedies to relieve shoulder pain naturally
- Make these a part of your daily routine, especially if you have long hours at the key board.
- Take care while sleeping. Always sleep to your sides with one or both knees brought up well with head and shoulder slightly forward.
- Flatulence, bloating, acidity, indigestion are caused by errors and indiscretions in the diet.
- Space out your meals properly.
- Have small, frequent meals, every 2-3 hours. Avoid having just 2 heavy meals. It affects the digestion adversely.
- Never stay hungry for long periods of time.
- Always keep energy foods with you – a fruit, groundnuts, dry fruits.
- Do not lie down immediately after a meal. Sit up for at least 1/2 an hour after eating.
- In case of excessive bloating and gas formation, have 1 spoon of carom seed before and after meals.
- Make lime and honey a part of your daily regimen.
- Juice of 1/2 a lime, with a spoon honey in warm water an hour after your lunch or dinner keeps stomach complaints away.
- Drink 2 – 2 1/2 liters of water everyday. It improves bowel movement and throws out toxins from the body.
