- Liberal intake of curry leaves prevents premature graying. Boil the leaves in coconut oil to make excellent hair oil. It brings back hair pigmentation.
- Oil prepared from ribbed gourd is another effective remedy. Pieces of the vegetable should be dried, soaked in coconut oil for 3-4 days and boiled till a black residue is left. The oil should be massaged into the hair.
- Paste of henna leaves boiled in coconut oil can be used as hair dye. Only the paste can also be applied to the hair for few hours and then washed off. Or wash hair with concentrated tea extracts twice a week to color hair.
