A person may develop pneumonia through different factors.
- Virus. A virus may enter the body through droplets and other particles that makes its way through the nose and mouth. Once inside the body, they invade certain body cells and start reproducing.
- Bacteria infection. Bacteria may affect the respiratory system and cause a person to develop pneumonia when a person is affected with ailments in other parts of the body.Through the bloodstream, bacteria may circulate in the body.
- Fungi, parasites, and other similar causes.

- Having plenty of exercise and proper intake of the needed vitamins and nutrients. Although not strictly classified as treatment, having a regular exercise and sufficient intake of nutrients help boost the body’s immune system to make it impregnable to common diseases such as pneumonia.
