What is Perioral Dermatitis?

    Perioral dermatitis is a condition of eruptions ( vesicles, or vesiculopustules ) occurring around the lips, nose, and chin. They have burning sensation around the mouth. It mimics like acne, cosmetically it make the person more conscious due to its direct exposure to others view.
    Causes of perioral dermatitis:
    - It may be related to direct sunlight, or seborrhic dermatitis.
    - Make ups creams can cause perioral dermatitis.
    - Dental creams or shampoo may be responsible.
    - Corticosteroid creams also can cause perioral dermatitis.
    In your case you have tooth paste allergy, added you are allergic to other creams.
    Proper diet with vitamins, minerals act as a supportive line of preventive measure. It is also said to be hereditary in nature. And very difficult to cure completely, chances of recurrence are high.
    Apply grape seed extract on the affected part, it is said to be useful therapy in curing it.
    Toothpaste without lauryl sulfate, tartar control ingredients and cinnamon flavoring, should be used.
