Natural Treatment for Dermatitis | How to Cure Dermatitis Naturally

How Take Care of Your Skin

  1. Eat adequately: eat lots of fish and soy. They are great sources protein (the skin’s building block and a vital requirement for repair and tear) and exceedingly important for your skin.
  2. Sleep well: sleep is very important for a good skin. When you don’t sleep sufficiently, the body produces a hormone that breaks down the skin cells. Also, remember to keep changing your position while you sleep. Never sleep in 1 pose for too many nights, since that could cause sleep lines which could refuse to go away.
  3. Do not wash your face too often: frequent washing could strip the skin of moisture and also alter the pH levels. What’s more, after you’ve washed your face, generously slather a good moisturizer.

My son has a small area on his neck that is like an eczema. It is controlled, however suddenly it is oozing and later becomes crusty. The small area is red and hurts and has become large. I will take him to a doctor, but I wanted a natural medicine to ease the pain and control the dermatitis.

Eczema or dermatitis of the skin is an inflammatory condition characterized by redness, pain, itching, oozing of fluid. When this oozing of the fluids stops, it forms crusts. If it remains for a long time the skin gets thickened. Usually exposed areas of the skin are more affected, such as fore arms, face, neck and scalp. It can also occur on other parts of the body.
The most common cause of this type of dermatitis is contact with allergens. The allergens like soap, certain things which react with the skin if it comes in contact like silver chain; there is another form of dermatitis called atopic dermatitis, commonly occurring in children where the cause is not known. Vitamin A deficiency can also lead to eczema of the skin.
Healthy diet should be given to the child. Food containing vitamins, proteins, minerals, carbohydrates, and fats are necessary.
Do not give junk food to the child. Some times they can cause allergic manifestation.
Give Apple juice and Carrot juice and fruits liberally as they contain plenty of vitamin A.
Mix water and sandalwood powder, make a soft paste, and apply on the affected area.
Nutmeg paste can be applied on the eczematous area.
Paste made out of papaya seeds and applied to the eczema gives good results.
A mixture of baking soda and coconut oil is worth trying.

Pulverize the nutmegs by a pestle, or a rolling pin. Add water to make it a paste. Apply on the eczematous area.
The same way papaya seed can be grind, and a paste is prepared with adding water to it
