  • Lip blisters are commonly caused after viral fever, lowered vitality or lack of energy. This is called as herpes simplex. It has assumed greater importance as a cause of serious and sometimes fatal infections. Lip blister is caused due to herpes simplex virus and recurrent infections are commonest on the lips and adjoining skin.
  • The main cause lip blister or herpes simplex is lowered vitality or lack of energy due to wrong eating habits.
    Habitual use of refined foods such as white sugar, refined cereals, white flour products and all processed foods have a very bad effect on the system in general. Foods in such environment (processed and tinned) are deprived of there valuable of qualities such as vitamins and minerals and this leads to condition of recurrent viral attacks.
  • Usually the condition of lip blister is associated with anemia, mal-nourishment, weight loss, fatigue, intestinal worms, bleeding dyscrasias etc.

Home Remedies and Natural Treatment for Lip Blister

  • Grape fruit has impounding effect on lip blister. Take of glass of grape fruit juice daily and lemon juice along with it. It contains vitamin C and B which are helpful in healing and energizing your body.
  • Dates are very helpful. 7 to 8 dates are to be soaked in water (a cup of water) over night and in morning are crushed in same water (remove the seed). This preparation is to be taken twice a day.
  • Cereal seeds, maize seeds, rye seeds, corn seeds and wheat seeds are high in nutritious value and help to provide energy to the body. This helps in cure of lip blister.
  • Betel leaf slightly warmed with coated of castor oil is applied over the boil and is changes every hourly till it ruptures and drains out. It should be continued till healing takes place but the frequency can be reduced to 3-4 times after the blister has opened.
