What is Jock Itch? What are the causes of Jock Itch?
Jock Itch is a fungal infection in the groin area, common in men. Jock Itch typically affects the skin of inner thighs and buttocks. Jock itch normally occurs in men who sweat a lot, or are obese. But this fungal itch may not be limited only to these people. The fungus that causes jock itch is often same type that causes athletes foot. Though jock itch is not really a very serious problem, it tends to be very irritating and causes a lot of discomfort.

- People who sweat heavily, the sweat in absorbed by the clothes in that area which keeps it moist.
- Unhygienic lifestyle can cause jock itch fungus to grow and spread: like not washing and cleaning up regularly, wearing the same clothes for days together, and not keeping your groin area dry.
Home Remedies for Jock Itch
- Clean the affected area daily with plain water.
- Apply a light layer of anti-fungal cream, twice daily and continue using it for a week even after the rash has cleared.
