I had a very fair skin tone until recently when it started to get dark and my face started to become dryer than it usually was. I drink lots of water and also have a proper diet.

Try to use Kalamansi or lemon after washing your face using soap. Take out juice of lemon and use it as a toner. Apply the juice all over your face and leave till it dries. Wash your face with Luke warm water after some time. Try this method two times in a week.

I will suggest that for removing black heads you should scratch the top and then squeeze it slowly until it comes out.

First of all you have to find whether the dark spots on your body are not associated with any skin or systemic ailment. This is only possible when you consult your doctor. If there is no such disease anomaly, than you can try following home remedies to make your skin bright and supple.
      • Mix a pinch of turmeric in a glass of milk. Add small amount of gram flour. Mix all ingredients well till a homogenous solution is formed. Now apply the mixture on the affected dark area 10 minutes before you take bath. Take your bath and clean your body. Pat your skin dry with a clean towel.
      • Protect your skin from direct rays of sun. Apply sunscreen over your body and face before you go out. The best way is to carry an umbrella.
      • Eat fruits and vegetables. They have plenty of vitamins and minerals which are helpful for making your skin fairer.

First of all you should stop applying any cream. Eat healthy food. Eat more fruits and vegetables as they contain vitamins and minerals that are beneficial for skin health. Vitamin C in fruits keeps your skin smooth and supple. Avoid sunlight, whenever you go out in sun, use an umbrella. For pimples, apply pulp of ripe tomato on the face. Application of turmeric powder mixed in coriander juice is also beneficial in curing pimples. Eat carrots and beet root.

      • Avoid going out in sunlight, especially in the afternoon hours. If at all you have to go out, carry an umbrella or apply sunscreen 30 minutes before going out in sun.
      • Wash your face with cold milk. Milk contains lactic acid, which has natural whitening qualities.
      • Apply sandal wood paste mixed with rose water daily at night. Let the thin layer of paste remain overnight on your face. In morning wash your face with cold water.
      • Apply tomato puree mask on your face. Vitamin C present in tomato is beneficial for skin. It makes the facial skin smooth and glowing.

If you do not have a strong history of sun exposure that is mainly responsible for tanning, then you should consult a dermatologist to find the cause and treatment. Meanwhile, avoid going out in the sun. Whenever you go out, you have to apply a sunscreen.

Skin complexion is a natural gift. There is some genetic inheritance. However, even if you are interested in becoming fairer, avoid going out in sun without applying sunscreen. Eat fruits and vegetables in large amount as they contain skin friendly vitamins such as vitamin C, E and A. Apply paste prepared from turmeric powder and milk. Both are beneficial for improving the skin complexion and its suppleness.

Dark circles around eyes can be due to heredity, reading and working in dim light, crying too frequently, insomnia, and mental stress. Here are important home remedies to solve your problem.
      • Massage almond oil over the dark circles around the eyes. It contains vitamin E which is beneficial to lighten the dark circles.
      • Cut few slices of cucumber and keep them in refrigerator. Now place the cold cucumber over the dark circles for twenty minutes. Wash the area with water. Follow it regularly for few weeks for effective results.
      • You can also place raw potato slice over the dark circles in the same way as cucumber slice.
      • Sleep for 7 to 8 hours.
      • Avoid reading in dim light.
      • Take breaks if you are reading or working for long hours.
