My sister has suffered from epilepsy most of her life but now she has fewer of them as I believe she has been able to control them when she gets that feeling that she is going to get sick. she hardly gets them now. What she does is that when she gets the feeling she is about to have one, she sits and bends at the waist until her head is pointing towards the ground with her arms down also towards the ground until she feels better. I believe this brings blood back to her brain and stops the seizure from happening. She was told to do this one time when she was about to get one in front of a nurse and it stopped it. Have you heard about the zapper by Dr. Hulda Clark. Do some research on it. She claims a lot of illnesses happen because of parasites. She has a book called “The cure for all diseases” Good luck!

Without any symptoms I suddenly collapsed on the road. I was alright after 5 minutes. What could be the cause for this loss of consciousness? This has happened about 5 times since 2003. After using VALANCE OD 500 MG these epilepsy attacks or fits reduced. Scan and EEG reports did not indicate anything was wrong. What can cure my problem?

There could be many reasons for fainting, ranging from simple harmless ones to more complex heart related illness. You may faint or lose consciousness due to fatigue, drop in blood pressure, stress, standing up suddenly and other medical conditions.
You must certainly get yourself checked thoroughly for any heart relate ailments. Do you have low blood pressure? Did you notice anything common when you fainted over the last so many years. Were exhausted, sweated a lot, or had a lot of stress. You need to try and recollect any common symptom during your spells and then speak with your doctor.

Same thing had happen with my friend and the Scan and EEG reports did not indicate anything that was wrong with him too. But the time we have been to doctor, doctor told us when the person become unconscious that time within 4 days the EEG report should be done if it’s not done with in 4 days, then it will not indicate anything and it will show as normal.

I have a nephew, 2 year old, who happens to have Seizures already twice now. He got CT scan and also EEG, and the Neurologist found that he has a swollen nerve at the front of his head. Could this be the cause of Seizures? He is under medication right now and he has TB as well and also under medication for Tuberculosis. When do Seizures occur? What can we do to help him cure from Seizures?

One year ago, I fainted unconsciously on the floor in my classroom. My body was rigid and cold and I do not remember any thing. I was concious after 1 hour in hospital. The doctor told me that I am suffering fron Complex partial seizures and advised me to take some medicine called Zen Retard for one year but I did not took it. In the one year from to then I fainted about 10 times but was conscious within 5 minutes. But a few days ago I fainted again for 1.5 hours and my body was rigid, cold, I started biting my tongue, I started shouting and was then admitted to a hospital. Now doctors are telling that I am epileptic and have to take medicines for the next 3 years.

Epilepsy is a condition of fits occurring with or without convulsion. There are two types of epilepsy the first one is known as petit mal and the second is known as grand mal epilepsy.
In petit mal epilepsy the attack remains for a few seconds, without person becoming unconscious. It s main cause is strained nervous condition.
Grand mal epilepsy results from hereditary influence, injury to the brain or the nervous system. Here the person becomes unconscious and has convulsion.

I have epilepsy after my childbirth but my babies are normal. I have been on eptoin and epilex for 15 years but now after taking tablets also I had seizures twice. So I changed my doctor and now on Topomac 100mg – 1 at night and Frisium 10mg morning and night 1. Calcium and B-Complex. But still got 4 times a day and admitted to the hospital. I was given Lorezepam injection. Is it perimenopausal? I am 44 years. Why the sudden increase? Earlier it used to be once in a year or even less.
