It is very painful and stretching around the area causes intense suffering. They maybe itch around the anus accompanied with bleeding.
- Wrong feeding-habits is the root cause.
- Hard motions due to chronic constipation damages the tissue and mucous membrane, and feces can infect the fissures further.
- Avoid Constipation.
- Juice Fasting for 5 days is helpful.
- Drink a glass of carrot, sweet lime, pineapple or orange juice mixed with water every 2 hrs.
- Take warm water enema to cleanse the bowel daily.
- For next 5 days fast by eating fresh fruits only.
- Then adopt a natural simple diet that includes whole grains, fresh fruits, green leafy vegetables, milk products and dry fruits.
- Drink adequate quantity of water throughout the day.
- Avoid sugary foods, refined flour, fleshy foods, pickles, spices and condiments.
- Drink hot water with sour lime and a little salt.
- Instill about 60 grams of olive oil into the rectum to soften stools. The affected area should be bathed several times daily with hot and cold fomentation. A piece of cloth wrung in hot water should be applied for 3 minutes, and should be repeated 3 more times followed by cold application.
- Yoga, regular physical exercise and fresh air are also essential.
