Laser Pigmentation Treatment

This pigmentation treatment is a form of laser assisted skin resurfacing. It is ideal for practically any patient, but is especially effective for those that have fair skin and dark areas of pigmentation.

How Does Laser Pigment Removal Work?

  • The dark spots on the skin are made up of melanin, which is what gives the skin its color.
  • The hyperpigmentation absorbs light and heat
  • When laser is shone on the area with pigments, the pigments absorb the head and the light.
  • This causes destruction for the spots
  • Peeling and fading of the spots is going to follow the laser treatment
  • It may take several treatments before spots are fully removed.
