Blocked Artery Treatment
The arteries are responsible for carrying oxygenated blood away from the heart, except for the pulmonary and umbilical arteries. An artery is one of the three types of blood vessels that form part of the circulatory system, which in turn is very important for continuing life.
The arterial system is composed of the circulatory system’s higher pressure portion. The arteries help the blood to pump blood. Today, the leading cause of death is due to stroke and myocardial infarction brought about by slow and progressive deterioration of the arterial system.
When the Arterial System Is Compromised
The blood pressure of the human body is the force that is produced on the walls of the blood vessels resulting from blood flow. When we talk about blood pressure, it generally refers to the systemic arterial blood pressure of the large arteries. The varying pressure, systolic during heart contraction and diastolic between contractions, is what makes the continuous flow of blood.
When the arterial system does not function well, then definitely all other parts of the body will be affected, after all, it is the channel that carry blood from the heart to the different organs.
Signs and Symptoms of a Coronary Heart Disease
One disease that is caused by a blocked artery is the coronary heart disease. The common symptom usually felt by a person suffering from the disease is angina. Angina is the squeezing pain and uncomfortable feeling in the chest area caused by the insufficient oxygenated blood in the heart muscle.
Chest pain brought by angina can extend from the chest, to the neck and jaw, and from the shoulders to the arms. It can get worse with too much activity and emotional stress but will soon go away upon resting.
Another symptom of the disease is shortness of breath resulting from heart failure. The heart could not pump enough blood for the entire body, causing fluid to build up in the lungs thus making it hard to breath.
Unblock Artery
There are medical and natural remedies to treat blocked artery where the goal is to help relieve the symptoms, lower the chances of forming blood clots that cause a heart attack, widen the clogged arteries, and slow or stop and completely reversing plaque buildup.
A natural remedy would include making changes in lifestyle like having a healthy diet, losing weight, exercising, quitting smoking, and striving to have a stress-free life. If natural remedies are not enough, then medicines can help decrease the chances of a heart attack and lower the cholesterol level and blood pressure.
