Relieve Stress and Anxiety with Soft Touch, Yoga and with Simple Diet

In a small, 4 week study, healthy married couples, who regularly, held hands, who cuddled up for 30 minutes, and massaged each other, at least 4 times in a week, showed noteworthy changes in the physiological mechanisms that are associated with stress.
Their saliva demonstrated increased amounts of anti-stress hormones, and lesser stress related hormones and enzymes.
Also, cuddling up or snuggling up to your pet has significant anti-stress benefits. They induce calmness and a sensation of satisfaction.

You must have some ‘me’ time, when you do just what you love best. It could be a sport, a hobby, anything that helps you to unwind. Detach yourself from what is going on around you. It helps. Set aside some time, everyday for yourself.

- Meditate: meditation helps you to overcome the constant buzz around you and break free from everything.Even a 15 minute period of shutting off mobile phones and computers, and sitting quietly, focusing on your breath could bring significant beneficial effects in your life.
Yoga for relieving anxiety
- Yoga is an excellent stress busting technique. Not only does it help to tide over stressful conditions, but it also revs up your system and gets you energized.
- When one is anxious or tensed, the mental state can get very chaotic. The following exercise will relieve anxiety and make you see reason. It will instill tranquility.
Dhyan Mudra in Padmasana
- Sit in padmasana pose (lotus pose), or a simple cross legged pose.
- Place your open right palm over the left palm, facing upwards, letting the tips of the thumbs touch each other.
- Block out all noise and disturbances and concentrate on the subtle sound that is created when the nostrils open up and there is a slight friction with the air.
- Listen attentively.
- You might get distracted initially; just draw your mind back gently.
- Stay in the dhyan mudra for about 10 to 15 minutes.

- This asana makes you take things as they come, without getting overtly disturbed.
- It reduces mental chatter and confusion.
