HRT Causes Breast Cancer:

The use of menopause hormones or hormone replacement therapy (HRT) for a period of 5 years doubles the risk of developing breast cancer.
Studies say, women who took progestin and estrogen pills for as little as a couple of years, faced a bigger chance of developing breast cancer.
When the pills were stopped, their chances of not getting cancer improved, returning to a normal risk level.
The findings of this study will put an end to any uncertainty and doubt, that the risk factors of HRT, outweigh the benefits.

Dr. Rowan Chlebowski, the lead author of the research, (from Harbor-UCLA Medical Center Los Angeles), said, that the rates, of women developing the cancer, have dropped, since fewer women now opt for the hormone replacement therapy.
Dr. Claudine Isaacs, of Lombardi comprehensive cancer center, states, that the risk can be diminished by quitting immediately, even if you’ve been on the therapy for long.
