If you woke up feeling a kink on your neck, you can apply these following solutions:

  • Get a towel and soak it on a basin with hot water. Place the towel on your neck and apply some pressure. The heat will allow good blood circulation and eventual relief from pain.
  • Hot bath. Take hot bath promotes blood flow and releases tension and muscle aches.
  • Apply heating pad on the affected area
  • Fill a bottle with hot water and let it stay on your neck for at least half an hour or while the water remains hot.

  • Walk to the nearest grocery for your daily needs or you can take a walk at the park to relieve muscle tension and stress.
  • Take food or spices with natural painkillers such as ginger or make a ginger juice.
  • Get a neck brace or neck support to steady your neck to prevent jerks and sudden movements
  • Apply pressure and gently massage your neck to bring back your normal blood flow.
