Answer:
Motion Sickness Treatment
Motion sickness is commonly referred to as travel sickness or kinetosis. It is a condition in which there is disparity between the visual perception of movement and the vestibular sense of movement. It is manifested in the form of dizziness, nausea and fatigue. Motion sickness can occur as a result of sea, air or even land travel.
Loose motions are an uncommon symptom of motion sickness. However black color of the stool in your case is indicative of some form of infection or occult blood in the stool. Do you have abdominal pain while passing stools? Did you have a history of bowel disorder? Do you suffer from peptic or intestinal ulcers?
Management of Black stools:
Dietary changes are recommended. It is possible that you have a ulcer in the stomach or your intestine which is bleeding. This occult blood is causing the stools to look black in color.
- Increase the intake of milk and milk products in your diet. They neutralize the acid in the stomach and protect the gastric mucosa
- Avoid tea, coffee, alcohol or irritants like cold drinks. Also limit the intake of fruit juices both fresh and canned
- Eat small quantities of food at short intervals of time. This will aid in diluting the gastric juices and protect the intestinal mucosa from further damage
Visit a gastroenterologist, if the problem persists. Don’t ignore.
