Scanty Hair Growth Treatments | Poor Hair Growth Causes, Remedies

Question: My son aged 8 1/2 years has scanty hairs on his head. At the time of birth he did not have any hair and was completely bald. But later the hair started growing but is very scanty. I doubt he has hair follicles in some regions on his head. We tried homoeopathy medicines but nothing is working. He also has scanty eyebrows. My husband’s cousin also had scanty eyebrows but has normal hair on his. Also if we look at his childhood photos, my son and he looks exactly the same.

Is my son’s problem hereditary? Will he be able to get hair just like others? Is there any other remedy?

Hair is formed in the follicles of the scalp. An up – growth of the follicle -called the papilla, actually produces hair. Hair growth depends on a good supply of amino acids.
