Remedy to Treat Dry Frizzy Hair
Main supplement for nourishment of you hairs is essential oil (natural form). If there is no nourishment then your hair tends to become dry and fizzy. They even get entangled into each other. You may be using harsh shampoos that remove all the oil from your scalp and hair. Lack of proper nutrition may be another cause.
Hair that is dry enough that it bothers you. Dry hair lacks luster and may be brittle. There may also be split ends.
Preventing Dry Frizzy Hair
- Heat is harmful for your hair and should not be applied to your hair.Heat in artificial form e.g. electric curlers or curling irons generated too much of heat which damages your hair leads to dryness of hair. Rollers or cylinders made of plastic are the ones you should use for styling. Dyes and perms also should be avoided as far as possible.
- When the hair is dry it tends to split ends and hence the split ends are snipped off every one or 11/2 month al least. This procedure should be continued till you are cured of dry and fizzy hair.
- Avoid whipping winds as this causes further frayed ends and damaged your hair further.One should not try to swim without covering your hair with cap used for bathing. Using bathing caps will protect your hair. One can also apply olive oil to your hair before you wear bathing cap.
- Hairs should be shampooed with mild variety.
- Those with dry and fizzy hairs should wash their hair only two times in a week. When washing hair, only use warm, not hot water. When rinsing the hair, always use cool water. This increases the circulation.
Home Remedies for Dry Hair
- Try to include fatty acid (unsaturated) to your diet for preventing dry frizzy hair. Natural unsaturated acids are present in flaxseed, wheat germ, soy or corn oil and sesame oil. One can also use vegetable oil which in unheated.
- Pour sesame seed oil on your hair and massage. Or apply flaxseed oil to treat dry hair.
- Massage avocado into your hair. It provides both protein and oil to the hair shaft. In a bowl mix 1 peeled avocado, one teaspoon each of jojoba oil and wheat germ oil. After shampooing, rinsing and drying your hair, apply this mixture with massage. Then cover your hair with plastic bag. Leave it on for 15-30min. then rinse it of thoroughly. Do this procedure once a week.
- Egg yolk is an excellent conditioner for dry hair.
- If your diet contains enough zinc and fatty acids and if your wash your hair with mild shampoo once a week, it would help relieve hair dryness.

Foods to be included in your diet for soft, glossy hair:
1. Your diet seems to be lacking in healthy fat. This deficiency is responsible for dry and lifeless hair. Consume foods that provide you with essential fatty acids that are good for your body, and for your hair. (Fatty fish such as – salmon, mackerel, walnuts, and olive oil).
2. Certain foods are called hair foods, since they exert a highly beneficial effect on them – cottage cheese, yogurt, and nuts. Incorporate these in your daily diet.
3. Eat 1 goose berry daily for a period of 6 months. This fruit is chock full of vitamin C which gives a healthy sheen to the hair.
Hair care:
Mix olive oil and castor oil in equal proportions. Massage it deep in to the scalp and down up till the tips of the hair. Soak a towel in hot water. Squeeze out the excess water and wrap around the hair for 1/2 an hour. Then rinse off. Take care, not to use a very harsh shampoo. This hot oil therapy will make your hair soft, shiny, and manageable.
