Grey Eyebrows Home Remedies
As people age, most of their physiological aspects change as well. These changes come in various forms. They could be physical, mental, emotional, and even psychological. From the wrinkling of skin to losing weight, losing one’s teeth, graying of hair and eyebrows to thinning of eyebrows, becoming more forgetful, and many more’”these are usually the common changes the elderly people would experience.
However, there are cases where the graying of the eyebrows occurs in adolescents and adults, and these are the following factors that might have led to these circumstances to occur:
- Hormonal changes.Men are more likely to experience graying of hair rather than women due to the hormonal factor.
- Aging. When a person ages, there is decrease of nutrients that will eventually reach the roots of the hair.
- Malnutrition is also one of the root causes why hair and eyebrows would turn grey due to the decrease in the production of melanin.
- Autoimmune disorder, known as vitiligo, has also been known as a cause for such changes.
- Other underlying conditions such as albinism and pernicious anemia can cause this.

Although the case is inevitable for some, there are treatments and remedies of graying eyebrow available for those who wish to keep the original colors of their eyebrows, and here are some of them:
- Proper nutrition and proper diet can help improve the condition.
- There are hair dyes that are specifically designed for the hair in the eyebrows.

- There’s also a tattoo eyebrow wherein you can get the permanent color in your eyebrows so you won’t need to use the makeup liners anymore.
Preventing Greying of Eyebrows
As mentioned earlier, because the condition comes with aging, there’s really not much one can do to prevent it from happening, except for the following measures that will help improve one’s health and reduce the risk:
- Practicing a healthy lifestyle.
- Eating the right and nutritious food.
- Getting enough sleep and rest at all times.
- Avoiding stressful situations.
