Viral Infection Causes, Treatments:

Symptoms, Remedies of Viral Infection:

• Turbulent beginning; result of: cold, dry wind from east and also draft while driving a car; shivering usually starts at midnight; extreme restlessness; face reddens when lying down, pale when sitting up; skin is hot and dry; thirsty for cold water; nightmares; scared/angry; afraid of death.

Worse – In dry winds, warm rooms, evenings

• Sudden beginning; pounding headaches make every movement painful; face color changes to bright, dark red, with heat and sweat; mouth is dry without being thirsty; the whole body is feverish; feet are cold; eyes are red, pupils are dilated; extremely sensitive or numb.

Worse – Motion, cold
Better – Quiet, warmth, warm bed
Remedy – Belladonna 30

• Begins at a slow pace; the whole body feels beaten up; constant backache; joints seem twisted; face is red hot, but there is no sweat; pounding, bursting headache; wants to drink cold water; coughing is painful and patient clutches hands to chest; fever is highest in early afternoon; shivering in the morning and at night; vomiting after shivers.

Worse – Motion
Remedy – Eupatorium perfoliatum 30

• Slow onset; often people – children who get tired quickly, but stay mentally alert; face is alternately red and pale; rather low fever; dull headaches; either very thirsty or not at all; sweating at night; tendency to get nose bleeds and inner ear infection with pounding pain (that seems to appear in wavy pattern); restless and wants to get out of bed.

Worse – Early mornings
Remedy – Ferrum phosphoricum 30 or 200

• A cold is on the onset, but remains inactive or undeveloped; first complaints are observed two or three days after having caught a cold; in the beginning there is often shivering, teeth rattle; wants to be held; followed by fluctuating fever, highest around three o’clock in the noon; face is swollen and reddened; head and joints ache; runny nose; unable to think or react normally; hands and feet are cold; too weak to talk, wants to be left alone.

Worse – Stress, afternoons
Better – Tea and coffee, after urinating, fresh air
