Natural Cure for Appendicitis | Causes, Symptoms of Appendicitis
Appendicitis Causes and Treatments:
Abdominal pain of appendicitis and tenderness is noted in lower right quadrant of abdomen. Along with pain usually vomiting is also present in appendicitis. Appendicitis first complaint is usually pain. Tenderness is present with pressure. Severity of pain is very fast. Unusually there may be generalized pain in the abdomen and main area of affection is over the umbilical region.
Appendix is usually situated right lower quadrant; halfway between umbilicus and hipbone.
Appendicitis can be caused by include constipation and overeating, complicated foods, rich food and low fiber diet.
Older people are less likely to have appendicitis.
Preventing Appendicitis:
- If pain is acute and unbearable one should immediately go to hospital as it can be emergency and operative can be needed or else there are chances of perforation of appendix.
- In other condition one can undergo fast immediately (usually with plain water). Small sips of water should be taken frequently.Stop eating processed, fried and junk foods. Stop eating all meat products.
Home Remedies for Appendicitis:
- Castor oil can be prepared in following manner in home itself. A folded woolen flannel is placed in an enamel or glass pan (take baking pan for this purpose). Castor oil is pored on cloth till the oil gets saturated. Heat this in the oven, but do not heat it that you cannot touch it with your bare hands.It will be heated in 5-10mins.
- Instead of heating it in oven, apply neutral (room temperature) pack at the area of appendix. Put heating pad on this area.
- After a time of about 1-2hrs remove it. Clean the castor oil from your skin with a liquid preparation made by following procedure-one liter of water with two teaspoon baking soda in it as castor oil may cause rash in some people. Cleaning should be done gently. Castor oil should not be tried to be washed outside the pack or another cloth involved. Washing out castor oil is very difficult. Same pack can be used for a period of 5 weeks as a re-useable pack by pouring castor oil. Heat it again before use.
