Sty Eye Causes, Treatments | Symptoms, Remedies for Sties

Sty Eye Treatments:

Infection inside the eyelid or on the edge of the eyelid due to pus – producing bacteria is called a sty. It often occurs in combination with inflammation of the eyelids and conjunctivitis. In most cases sties are harmless, but they can become quite large. See your physician in case of pain or if no improvement is observed within four or five days of self treatment.

Symptoms, Remedies for Sty Eye:

• Eyelids are swollen, red, cracked or dry; cannot tolerate artificial light.
  Especially for restless, choleric and people who are indecisive

Remedy – Graphites

• Eyelids burn, are itchy and are gummed up; has spasms in the eyelids; the person tries to avoid light; sores are formed due to the discharge; particularly in case of hidden frustrations and anger.

• Frequently recurring sties, particularly on the upper lid; thick yellow pus
